Got a little bit bored and a little bit productive and decided on a new project. It's one of those spriter rites of passages, I guess, and it's perfect for my jump to some bigger sprites.

I present to you Chill Penguin, the first in my line-up of Mega Man X robot masters (see: Mavericks). Once I restock on beads and buy some more pegboards, I'll make the other seven. All of them will be doing their pre-battle poses.

Color palette is going to be interesting with these guys. The blues I have weren't quite the shades that I wanted, Dark Gray blends a bit with black sometimes, and the Butterscotch/Light Brown combination was kind of hard to choose at first. We'll see how it goes.

I got the sprite from this sprite sheet and used Dougrick's own Chill Penguin for some perspective on what colors to use.
