Sonnet 314 by ~ZaneBellamy:iconZaneBellamy:

When first we met, our future was unclear
For I was young in years compared to you.
I soon, though, saw that I had naught to fear;
We could not terminate our friendship true.
Geometry was bleak until you came
To circumnavigate the field with me.
You talked in circles, friend, but just the same,
My problem areas did set me free.
In trigonometry, we met again
Where you provided "functions" with their "fun."
You helped me see the sines and kept me sane,
And with cosines, you were my number one.
O, 3.1415926,
Without you I would be in quite a fix.
