I took a trip to New York in April to go see some shows and take a tour of Juilliard. When we got to the airport, Mom was like, "Let's take a taxi!", but there was this cheaper service right outside the airport. I was like, "Eh, let's save $10?"
So we got stuck waiting for a bus. Then we got stuck waiting for a shuttle. I would've paid $10 for the convenience had I known we would wait.
While waiting for the shuttle, though, I got this shot. It's kind of odd now that I look at it. I was trying to get a nice shot with the clock building (whose name eludes me), but I ended up getting this. People just walking about this layered scene... almost like steps. A sidewalk, a bus, a bridge, a building, all like a set of steps. Crazy.
